The use of unmanned airborne platforms relies heavily on the presence of precise GNSS (GPS, Galileo, Baidu, GLONASS, etc.) signals and data.
A poor GPS signal or its absence altogether may bring all operations and flights to a halt, severely harming UAS missions, services and supply chains.
Receiving a "spoofed" GPS signal posses serious threats to any UAS and its operators.
INS (Inertial Navigation system) is usually used a secondary navigation system, but tends to drift along time and provide false location data.
LOCATOR uses ProTrack's unique, operationally-proven, industry leading Video Anchoring software to continually test the GPS and/or INS data and the platform's telemetry, correct them and make them accurate.
It keeps working even when they are non-existent, corrupt or have severely drifted.
LOCATOR is installed on off-the-shelf Linux/Windows SOMs and cards (e.g. Nvidia Jetson etc.) and easily integrates with the platform's controller and sensors.
